Mike Morris has more than 25 years of experience in leadership positions in variety of industries ranging from technology-based SaaS, software and services firms to a family-owned food distribution firm. With a deep understanding of business analytics, modeling and strategy as well as operations and growth dynamics, Morris has a proven track record of helping businesses thrive.
Most recently, Morris was Vice President of Customer Acquisition and Retention at Grasshopper, the entrepreneur’s phone system, where he grew customer acquisition and revenue which directly led to a sale of the firm to Citrix for $170MM+ in 2015.
Prior to his critical role at Grasshopper, Morris was Vice President of Product Management at Fidelity Investment’s HR outsourcing business where he built and launched the self-service applications and customer support for Fidelity’s mid-market HR offering. He has also held senior product development and product management positions at Affiliated Computer Services and ANSYS, Inc. where he specialized in developing and executing market entry strategies for new products. Morris has also consulted for Thomson Financial, Amtrak, Standard & Poor’s, PSEG, Safeco through Deloitte Consulting and other boutique consulting firms.
Morris holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the Tepper School at Carnegie Mellon University. He is married with 4 children, and is actively training to compete in his second full Ironman triathlon.
